Held at a local restaurant
or bar, eight-minute PR events will last approximately 90 minutes
and will kick off with 20 minutes of appetizers and mingling, followed
by the first four 8-minute private conversations. Executives will
have just eight minutes to brief designated reporters on their latest
company news or discuss happenings in the industry, and then - BRINGG,
BRINGG - a bell rings and it's on to the next person. Participants
then break for a 20-minute intermission, followed by four more 8-minute
meetings.
At the end of the evening, reporters fill out a card and check a
box if they'd like to hear more about a particular company they've
met that night. Blanc & Otus will facilitate the next meeting,
if need be.
Cost
There is no cost for journalists to attend the events. The fee for
companies is $1000 per event, which includes two hours of media and
messaging coaching beforehand and the guarantee of meeting eight members
of the media in one night.
